Definitely, not pretty to see. There are, in total, 15 vertical lines of stuck pixels across my LCD screen. Most of them appeared out of nowhere, without doing anything to the laptop.
With a portfolio still needing to be refined before being uploaded to the intarwebs (it's almost done, but I need to rework with the studio image, and procrastination keeps hitting me), I have to send this lappy off to Toshiba as soon as possible. Either today or tomorrow, or else, I'll only see it again in September.
I'm doing a backup of my programs, games and files, as I'm typing this. Then I'll turn it off. I can still use the home computer to access the Internet, but it has so much junk in it, and it's stupidly slow. It is not a bad computer, but someone turned it into complete trash thanks to a overload of useless and suspicions programs. It might take a while before I can make it functional for my basic, daily internet needs (check email, check forums, etc). I won't be able to play online games, but I hope I can at least work with Flash and Photoshop.
I'll get back to MSN when I get the home computer in order.

I'll be playing on it often, most likely with Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (it's a Gamecube game, but what the heck, I love the chao gardens.)
And Brawl should be coming soon, so we can finally kick arses in NSI.

Petição contra o Acordo Ortográfico. Sim, merece ir em frente, nunca achei piada a este acordo, já temos problemas que chegue com a língua, gramática e ortografia da geração "morangos com adoçante fora do prazo". É preciso rever tudo, antes de avançarem com qualquer medida que seja. Mesmo que o acordo seja aprovado, irei continuar a escrever como me ensinaram na escola primária.
E porque gosto do "c" nas palavras. Porque é que tenho de escrever "ação", quando "acção" tem mais piada?
No email que recebi com o link da petição, vinha também este texto:

I would never imagine you would use a standard toshiba wallpaper.
Perhaps it's what's causing the problems to your screen. Think about it.
No silly, I only changed the desktop wallpaper today, into the Toshiba one, just for the sake of it (since I changed many setting back to default, and removed files). My previous one had TF2 characters in a birthday party, with Portal's cake.
That makes a lot more sense. =)
